MUMBAI: Newcomer Jiah Khan is all set to make a racy a debut in Ram Gopal Verma's Nishabd - the Indian take on Lolita - opposite none other than the superstar Amitabh Bachchan. While her debut film is yet to be released, Jiah has already set Bollywood on fire with her sensuality and her devil may care attitude.
"At the end of the day it's love, whether it comes from a person your age or much older. You can't really stop falling in love with someone because of some invisible barriers," says Jiah.
The actor is also pleased that she is being launched in film that will showcase various shades of the character, at an early stage in her career.
"Nishabd will surprise a lot of people. The film is a highly emotional and intense drama and acting opposite Amitabh Bachchan was such a wonderful experience. He guided me to scale my emotions to a different level. He was very patient with me since I was facing the camera for the first time. In this film the intimacy is momentary rather than physical and therein lies the chemistry," adds Jiah.
The film also stars Aftab Shivdasani, Revathy and Rukhsar
